| Briefly describe yourself | Until I was 10 years old I went to my Dad's trapline, I grew up picking berries all summer, chopping wood to make a fire to cook supper, using a wood stove to heat the house, my Mom made baked bannock, my Dad trapped furs and my Mom helped him stretched them and sold them in town, we hauled water from the surrounding rivers and lakes. My Grandmothers couldn't speak English. There was Indian medicine in the cupboard and my parents would doctor each other. I wasn't raised with my culture but we did live differently. My parent's believed not passing on the old ways would be best for me and my siblings but the Creator had something different in mind for me. I have a Traditional women's facial tattoo, wear a skirt everyday, attend sweats monthly.
